Dynos should only read a couple hp different if they are both set up properly. You can make a dyno say that you have 800hp if you want to. Trust me, the m20b25 is rated at 168hp at the crank. Old m20's CAN get 145hp at the wheels stock. At the wheels it should be around 150 with a brand spankin new engine (new rings, bearings, head gasket, valve seats, valve guides, etc. Also, my statement above was with a COMPLETELY stock engine just rebuilt.

and as i said it depends on the type of dyno you use. Dynojet read different to mustang, dynapack, dyno dynamics etc etc and each can be setup differently

depends on the dyno and the state of tune or if there are mods. You can guarantee that your car won't make 150whp on all dynos they are all different.

Alright, thanks. I've got to avoid speed bumps now anyway. You just made me decide which headers to get!

with 205/60/14 i had one finger clearance in the front fender gap, so they were pretty low. most of the stuff i hit was just speed bumps when i wasn't thinking about it and super steep inclines into parking lots.
