We've finally found a good location to buy these - they're not from IE they're purchased elsewhere. If they fit well, I'll likely sell as many as I can get my hands on before they're gone. I'll have a better idea after the weekend.
Not sure about the GB but it might be. They're pretty nice but I'm going to have to have work done to get them to fit. The flanges aren't fitting properly and the seller isn't responding. If its the same guy as the one doing the GB, then I'd push for some clarity on what they'll do if there is a fit problem. Otherwise, they're pretty nice - although they're not equal length headers.
Budget beater (running the GB at e30tech) has stated that the only fitment issue with the headers in that group buy require " a little muscle" to get them into place then they fit just fine. what exactly he means by that i'm not sure, all though they do look exactly the same as the ones you have pictured there. Aren't the IE headers made in Mainland china? Who's headers are equal length? what kind of advantage woudl Equal length headers have on a NA car?
Fuck those headers, i spent 20 hours making them work.
Flanges fit horrible to the head, got that out of the way after forcing with a big ass crow bar and screaming. Thought to myself "Whew, now comes the easy part, putting them on the exhaust". I look underneith and they're not even close to fitting, about 5" too long and way too far over to the right side to even work. I had to weld new mid pipes.
they are not the same as the IE's.. IE's has a seperate pipe between the collectors and the X pipe. Where those are just the headers and the X pipe. I had a proplem with my IE's fitting but it wasn't that bad to fix.

you must have done it wrong.
yes , the flanges are a little off, but thats to be expected with individual flanges headers, the go right on though, when you want them to.
i too , however, had to have new mid-pipes welded in, but, it was time for that 20 yr old converter to go away.
im pleased with them.
and yes, im 99.999999999% sure these are the e30tech GB headers.
