What can you recommend 3.1L stroker

i have a NA M20 of 3.1L capacity. I will be fitting a BTB long tube header with high flow cats and custom straight thru muffler.

I want to keep the noise to not too much louder than stock (more so i want no droning) and i understand the stock cat has sort of a resonator incorporated so if i use so called high flow cats will this introduce much more noise? Should i run a resonator? I am not too familiar with resonator setups and what how they actually work any tips?

if you don't want a lot of noise, just run a resonator.

Shouldn't be too loud with that set-up anyway, pick up some Thrush Glasspacks from Advance Auto for resonators, i love those things, $20ish a piece and very good construction. Only buy Thrush though, the rest are louvered cored.
