I have stock s50 exhaust back to my e30 muffler. While I like the fact that the car still looks stock, the muffler sounds like crap when dealing with s50 exhaust quantities.

It hisses like crazy under WOT. FWIW, the muffler is new.

I just ordered Supersprint headers and will do an entirely new exhaust when they arrive.

Car dynoed at 217 RWHP at Balanced Performance but Ed Senf noted that muffler was strangling the exhaust.

Make sure your pipes come together at some point before the muffler. aparently that helps alot to cut down on rasp. I should have the exhust coming together tomoro and if not this week for sure.

The e34 downpipes to the e30 cats is going to work like a charm. Im looking at 3 joints per pipe. I got the back most one ready to hook up to the e30 part and i have to do some more work on the front one. I think it would be alot easier with a pipe expander but im cheap and wanted to get better at welding. And i still suck pretty bad at welding. I should have it done and ill get some pics up tomoro i hope.
