    DTM tips = Be gone!

Got my muffler welded back on today, and had them cut off and replace those god-awful DTM tips. These are dual 2.25" rolled edge chromes, much better looking than the dull, sort of yellowish DTM tips that came on the Magnaflow.

Excuse the crappy pics, it was getting dark and my camera sucks.

I thought some people might say that, but I didn't want to go any bigger. I thought dual 2.5" looked too big, and dual 3" was WAY too big. I'm really happy with this size. They kind of look stock, but just that little bit bigger.

        It's all about subtlety. :D

Not on the car, no. Pics of just the tips won't really give any frame of referrence.

There's subtle, and then there's puny. You fall in the latter :p

There's hoping everyone else likes them, and there's me liking them. I fall in the latter. :D

That's the idea. I'll do an engine swap when the motor dies, 24V. Until then, I'm putting a 323i intake manifold on this motor very soon, and either a 323i head (if I can find one), or building up the spare eta head I have into an i head.

Much better than dtm tips but like someone else said,
just a bit small, I think 2.5's would have filled out the
                              exhaust cutout better.
