No, i completely agree with you but im just saying why pay a couple hundred bucks when you can pay just a couple. there would be very little difference in performance.

there is very little to be gained in the way of y pipes period yeah... why change anything on an e30's exhaust at all? not much to be gained, the only thing is sound, and you can do that with just a muffler really, so unless you're going turbo with an e30 there isn't all that much purpose period. Why did you need that made anyways?

A single 2.5" exhaust weighs much less than a dual 2" system.

so what is your point? You are losing a bit of weight from the very bottom end of you car? Like I said... very little to be gained. Did I say NOTHING to be gained? No, I said very little. Because if you wanted to get a 600-1200 full cat back that would gain your a couple of ponies, drop some weight, and sound badass, the biggest difference is going to be sound. You won't feel the weight loss any more than the few horsepower you gain, but you sure as hell are going to notice the audible difference. And you'll definitely notice if your exhaust sucks ass and drones like crazy.

well whatever gets the job done for you then. What muffler? you should post info and sound clip, everyone is always interested in hearing what they can before they go exhaust shopping.

From a performance standpoint, weight *is* the enemy. Simple as that. Taken collectively, I can assure you an effective weight loss program makes a significant difference in handling, braking, and acceleration. Heck, it even improves fuel economy!

And there is no reason for an exhuast to weigh over 20lbs. Muffler and all. Maybe even half that.

OK check the previous statement. Less than 10lbs.........If weight is the enemy.
