Garrett tb25 is it big Enough?

I got a Garrett Tb25 sitting on the shelf that I pulled out of the j-yard
    a couple of months ago..
I pulled it off a Saab 900 fwd I also have a IHI I pulled off a furd probe
2.2 but i know it's really small and will be mounting it on my buddys 1.6 Miata.. but thats a hole nother thread..

I have another friend with an older gti 2.0 and was asking if the garrett could be mounted on the "street tramp" if not could he buy it?

So I'm asking, is it big enough to boost the m20, too a "max" boost of 8psi with a rev limit of 7000rpm?

I know everybody says run T3/T4 but that's the same guys pushing 12-15psi and thick head gaskets on freah engine builds..ugh:roll:
    Will this turbo work?

~I have stock everything at 164,000+miles
~Afm swapped for 2.7" Miller MAF III, but will order 3.5" housing for boost.
    ~173 ecu running a Miller W.A.R chip
    ~524td manifold

Just ordered ported and polished wheel studs, and balanced and blue printed oil drain plug! Instlled 3point wiper blades
So i got what in need! j/k...:-D

    thank

OK went out a cleaned the turbo to sell, started searching part numbers turns out
the turbo is a water cooled Garrett T3 (TB0356) with .42 A/R compressor housing, and .48 exhaust housing
I'll be keeping this one.. I'm sure it will do just fine on my build...

those trims are about what volvo used on it's turbo motors in the 80's on their 2.3L redblocks. it can make enough pressure, yes, but it's about airflow as well. i strongly doubt that it will work for you past 5k rpm. you will straight up not make extra power past that. it'll spool up quick as a bitch though :)

I may be interested in this turbo for my 1.6 diesel. Have any pics? Standard t3 flange? What about exhaust housing?

What size turbos do you recommend for an m10 motor then? I have a .42 trim, with .40 a/r

that would prolly work well for a stock m10.
