    Yeah but a cop who is an auto enthusiast i could see not giving a ticket to a turbod bmw that is done right but more so being like wow thats sickk. But what do i know.. i got pulled over in my GTi for going 140+ and they asked if i had n0s...

    I saw your tread too..But i didn't see the 524td intake.. maybe I didn't look hard enough..lol...
    I'm also using a 524td exhaust and would love to mimic your afm mod..
    I've ditched my A/C and running a large volvo intrecooler in it's place to
    up side down. This way I can route the tubing from the intercool up under the air box and through it much like yours.. If you have a pic of that intake manifold alone could you post it? How diffrent is it from the "E" or "I" intake?

    i saw your build. the afm part has to be the best. maybe ill see the finished product at the meet. shit if i had the money ide follow up on the "so cal tarbo" thread

    Try modifying a 524td intake and exhaust manifolds. Can't get anymore OEM then that. One of these days i'll get around to taking pics of my finished build.

    This is why I trying like hell to build a stock looking setup.
    I figure if i can't hide it, I'll make it look like it's supposed to be there
    dark dinggy, and stock looking parts..

    In California, you'd be surprised how smart most Highway Patrol officers are, some of them go through training to know what is a "factory" set-up looks like and one that isn't.

    Defiantly not an S1, it could be any number of engines powered but I would guess the black one is a S2. The other one could be any number of late 80's quattro cars.
