if I were to buy this setup would the headers be chrome like in the first pic or rough metal like the second one? Im 95% sure i will be buying this setup in late november. Im at school right now and wont be able to get any work done on the car till xmas break. Oh and what size turbo can fit on there?

It would be the chrome one in the first pic, it's made for a T3.
I think you should really drive an s52 e30 first, before you slap a gt35r in that combo. While your brother's car is probably a bit faster, it can also put down the power a bit better. Also a centrifugal blower doesn't make the torque down low like a turbo, so this will make traction worse in an e30.
Just my 2 cents. An s52 + gt35r will easily make 400whp/400wtq, which will make your e30 a rocket.
Yeah after looking at video's of FI e30's with an s5x I've decided to get the car running smoothly to see how fast she is and then decide if I want to add the turbo. I've just always wanted a Forced induction car that I can tune. The only thing I'm worried about with the turbo (after watching the videos) is that there will be so much power the car will never grip up, and always be stressful to drive having to worry about traction. Depending on what diff I use, my first two gears are goin to be useless. I want a car that will be fast and always enjoyable to drive.
