I never really had an issue here in jersey with screamer pipes. I'v owned plenty of turbo cars with open dumps and never got shit for it from a cop. Now having tints and a stupid loud exhaust will get you a ticket. Even though you can pass inspection now with tints. I guess if you fly by a cop at full boost with open dumps you'll get a ticket.Leave a comment:

Well after reading your thread Einstein the way you tried to hide your turbo kit by modifying your afm to cover up a charge pipe shows how strict Cali laws can be, but that's just how it is when you have a highly populated city with a strong car scene. The government wants to crack down on cars hooning around causing smog.
I'm guessing your illegal drag racing scene is huge just like it is here in Melbourne and Sydney with us implementing American laws such as impounding cars which has started to hit hard. Well at least you guys can drive high powered turbo and v8 cars when under the age of 22. I'm willing to take the risk in turboing my e30 at the age of 20 since its an e30's and they do hide under the cops radar unlike Jap imports and Aussie GM and Ford muscle carsLeave a comment:

New york and jersey have a huge car scene. There are some seriously legit cars out there. PNW gets labeled as a dub scene.Leave a comment:

It seems everybody knows about California's anal-ness about all car stuff. Lol. It's pretty upsetting.. Especially because the car scene is really big out here and regulations on car modifications are still so ridiculous. Is it frowned upon in the US to run screamer pipes, California I'm guessing would be a big no no but what about about in New Jersey which is where your from, because where I'm from if you are running screamer pipes you'd better be prepared to get bent over when a cop pulls you upLeave a comment:
