Is it frowned upon in the US to run screamer pipes, California I'm guessing would be a big no no but what about about in New Jersey which is where your from, because where I'm from if you are running screamer pipes you'd better be prepared to get bent over when a cop pulls you up

Thanks dude...it's gonna be a bit loud. I would have put them into the downpipe but too much of a pain to remove downpipe with these welded on. I'm kinda excited though to see how loud it is.

Here are a few more pics of the progress...I got the down pipe
made and also the hot side of the intercooler pipe done. Now just have to get the engine harness done and crank her over.

It's nice to see someone boosting the ol' M20 as well. I have a spare motor that I stroked to 2.8L with eta rods and whatnot. I'll be running an H1C Holset and using Megasquirt as my management. I was contemplating on boosting the current motor, but the last time I did that, my S13 was down for 6 months for a rebuild. I've learned my lesson on trying to boost a daily and barely succeeding. lol

It's a cheap engine to do it on...if it blows up I'll just pick another one up at the scrap yard and do it again lol
