    smoke at full boost

Ive got an old volvo se 940 turbo with 200k on it. Recently I decided to add a manual boost controller to the car to see if I could get a few more psi.

Im having an issue where the car seems to burn oil or coolant under full boost( about 8-10psi I would say)

Im pretty easy on the car as it is my daily driver but whenever I bag it I see a reasonable size cloud of white smoke coming from the tail pipe.

After thinking about it for a while I realized it could really only be two things... Rings or Turbo seals. like I said it only does it under full boost. Partial boost or vacuum there are no signs of smoking. Im also not loosing any coolant or oil either...but yet I am still not sure.

    Anyone have this issue ever?

its oem. whatever that size is. speaking of restrictors. my brand new turbo is leaking from the compressor housing possibly because my restrictor is too big.

      apparently I need a 1/32nds hole instead of a regular -3

You say it's white smoke? That would lead me to believe coolant, unless the turbine seal is bad and is getting oil into your rather hot exhaust and then causing it to burn.
