Recommendations for an engine management computer for E30 3820cc turbo

    Hello guys

I´m working on a E30 turbo project and I need to buy a programmable computer.

I´m buying 700cc injectors and already have the turbo kit. We built a forged engine so we can boost a bit more.

If any one can recommend a programmable computer I will appreciate it, also tips are welcome.

We don´t have many information in Costa Rica so I will appreciate any help.

    Thanks!

its all dependant on how much coin you're looking to spend and what functions youre looking for. MS3 (megasquirt 3)is fairly cheap and capable unit. I am currently, and a lot of other guys are, running ms2xtra but MS3 is starting to take off plus the support is great. my 2cents

    where in CR are you?

if your english is good, I'd start reading at:

most MS support will be in english, but most of it (like pin numbers, wiring, etc) is universal.

This is what I use for my e30 turbo and stock e30 318is.

For the cost its great. Along the same lines as MS but also has built in egt. I haven't read up on ms3 since my needs are already very satisfied for standalones.

www.vems.co.uk under the projects sections has a bunch of turbo'd e30's on it also.
