    need some help

so this is probably an easy answer for some of you guys but, if im going to do a turbo set up on my m20 will i need to convert the stock air flow meter or is there a way i can use it without changing that.

so far my plan is a war chip, 25-30lb injectors, with a borg warner gm5 turbo. but idk what i need to do with the afm
    any suggestions?

not to look like a total dumbass but i found this http://s1.promotionsupplies.com/ebay...-AI-SET-14.jpg
would something like that work? because i have the capability to fab it up myself, just a matter of will that work? i've also heard of people putting the afm in front of the turbo?

you can buy just the war chip from miller with out the maf and they have tunes for
      turbo w/war chip on afm...

so you don't have to do anything with it..

                Also shop for a clutch.
The stock one will spin at 5psi and up.

                          but for real though.
You'll turn the clutch into cream cheese if you don't keep it under 5psi. :)

anyone wana explain an external wastegate if i mock up an adapter from stock manifold to turbo?
like how would i have to set it up and what size wastegate?
i apologize, I'm quite new at this..

An external wastegate is a flange put before the turbo flange. So what would happen is the exhaust gasses will go through it first and the valve is always pushed closed when building boost. And at the top of the wastegate there is a nipple that is fed presurised air from the outlet of the turbo and it will push the spring down once it's hit full boost and then a valve will open and divert exhaust gasses into the dump pipe instead of the turbo. Hope I explained correctly
This how I learnt about wastegates, infact I have this dvd on my bookshelft
