    S/C disguised as A/C?

I'm looking at the possibility of boosting my '89 325i. I'm already saving my pennies and nickles for an intake management system (haven't decided which one yet).
The "hide your snail from the po po" thread inspired me. I live in the people's republic of Kalifornia, so I want to try fitting a supercharger where the AC unit is now. I figure there's already a pulley and a space to mount it, I'll just have to fabricate a few parts. Is there a supercharger that came stock on something I could find in a junk yard? Maybe that looks like an AC compressor?

And how do you expect to hide the plumbing? Why not purchase an C.A.R.B approved Supercharger or Turbo kit?

Oh and for the record, my car's just a dd. I'm looking for a very low amount of boost here. In the area of 200whp is my goal, (heck I'd be happy with 180whp).

If you know where to find a carb legal booster that fits an e30, please let me know.
