    my comments where towards the downpipe.. as in cutoff the flange that bolts to the turbo and make the rest of the downpipe 3". an inch of 2.5 before it hits 3 wont make a difference. of course this depends on what the outlet size of the turbo is, and if hes worried about retaining the whole downpipe or just the flange section.

    you can run it. a 3" is much more efficent for a turbo though.

    Who's had success with a 2.5" exhaust turbo m20

    The downpipe that came with my turbo is a 2.5". Would I be fine running a single 2.5" exhaust? I don't really want to make a new 3" downpipe.

    I've read of people pushing 400+ hp on a single 2.5"

    Opinions?
