M10 turbo, lots of boost, lots of methanol ='s

    Lots of fun.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jason, and I wanted to show you all my little m10 turbo e30.

My car is set up at 22 psi boosts running on the stock engine and stock ecu. I have two methanol injection systems that dumps a boat load of fuel under boost conditions.

I completed a major purchase on tires, so will just post up some YouTube videos of the car and my 12.30 second run I just completed this weekend.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

That's awesome. I have been following your build on e30tech but have never said anything because my account over there never became active so I can't post. Right on for dipping into the 12's with a 1.8l "Boat-anchor"

Thanks. This was my first time at the 1/4 mile, as I'm used to running the 1/8. This gives me a good base line as I really am shooting for a 11 second pass. Anyway i'll keep this thread updated on my progress.

It's really incredible that your getting such good success on the stock ecu and motor. I guess the e85 fuel gives that extra safety barrier against detonation.
What mods to the fuel system have you done to allow the engine to run e85 along with 22psi of boost? Size injectors etc.

That's the build. But can you simplify and say turbo specs, injector size, rear diff, rwhp if you have a dyno sheet

I run 24 lb/hr injectors with my primary injection system. The only mod other then injectors was to add a walbro inline fuel pump. Under boost I have two methanol systems that operate off boost pressure switches. The total methanol flow rate is over 250 lb/hr under boost.

Detonation, I can do that,,,, video explains:

My eBay turbo is .58 ar hot / .60 ar cold.
            Gear ratio 4.10
Not sure on the hp at 22 psi. It's more important for me to run quick drag times then to have a dyne graph.

Just to give a little update to my build. My t3 eBay turbo died the other day, so instead of a rebuild kit I spent $109 on this t3t04 hybrid.

The net result at 24 psi boost is 0.32 seconds quicker in the 1/8 mile.

ya i was looking at this on e30teck as well and im thinking about turboing it ( future mod) and i like your set up but no intercolor freaks me out a little bit

Nobody really talks about my non-intercooler set up. If I didn't have my methanol system going, then I would be freaked out.

What size turbo feed/drain lines are you running? I'm about to buy some fittings and drill my spare pan/filter housing.
Note: Just found my answer through your e30tech post. 1/2" NPT fittings.

Hey guys, I've been so busy, I totally forgot about updating this thread. My appologies.

                            Some updates to my build....

New turbo trial fit, also showing the oil drain.

Hx35 from a 1997 dodge cummins, the WG just misses the engine.

Along with the holset, I also added two stages of direct port methanol injection.

With the Above mods I made a 364 whp dyno pull at 30 psi and three hits at the 1/8 at 29 psi. First hit of the year I over revved and broke/bent some stuff...

Fixed the valve train with rocker locks, titanium retainers and dual valve springs. Back at the 1/8, first hit did nothing but slip the clutch. After putting some heat in the clutch, I made a third hit of the year with the holset and did this to my number 3 combustion chamber...

So now I am back on the road witH the t3/t04 turbo I ran last year set at 18 psi. My wife will kill me if the thing breaks, lol.
