I don't know how it happened. But this guy said to me that his odometer stopped working and had to go to the police station because it looked like the miles have been wound back and they had to trace back the previous owner who sold it to him and was in big trouble. It still doesn't make sense to me. If the miles get wound back does it stop at its original miles?
Anyway its nothing OP should worry about he isn't Australia where he has to worry about these strict laws

You hook up a drill to it and go to town to set the odometer to whatever you want. The really cool thing about it is...it's illegal in all 50 states to do so

Actually I am. My speedo is out by 9kmh so annoying. Maybe it'll change with the diff swap I'm doing this week. I got it off my friend and his speedo was fine with this new diff I got from him. Nevertheless I would still like to know incase it doesn't workLeave a comment:
