    Oil filter/cooler lines

The turbo manifold doesn't fit. The filter and the oil cooler lines are in the way.

I did search, but didn't come up with anything good.

What can I do about this? Please let me know soon.

I need oil cooler lines and an oil filter relocator.

    Will this work? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G4985-1/

    Or this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TRD-1113/

Will I need a new oil cooler? What lines/hoses can I use?

Do I have to grind the little locating tabs off? It twists ~30* unless I pull the bolt off.

Still doesn't fit. The oil filter fits now, but the lines are in the way.

What can I do about this? I was thinking about doing two 90* hose fittings coming off of the filter housing going straight into rubber hose, than into the oil cooler.

Has anyone does this/pics of your "custom" setups?

can you bend them a little bit? I had to bend mine to clear the ix motor mount with the housing flipped around.

iirc the threading on the oil cooler is 22mm x 1.5 pitch. You have alot of options if you get adapters from Earls Indy for switching to -an fittings. 22mm x1.5 to -10AN is available. there are plenty of aftermarket oil coolers close to the same size as the OEM that have AN fittings. I went with Parker push-lock lines. they support up to 300PSI but you can choose steel braided as well. I think I spent 130 bucks total on the adapters, fittings, hoses, and cooler. obviously don't copy mine cause I didn't move the housing but this will free up your line angles quite a bit.

Nice setup Brandon12V. Wish I had the $$ to copy that.

                  Anyone else?

Remove it till you can afford the AN fittings. I ran my car for a year with out an oil cooler.

I didn't even think about removing it....

What did you use to plug the holes?

Don't think that will work. The filter will stick out too far

I will also need an adapter though right...? The threads on the filter are female. The threads on the block are female as well.

Where can I get this adapter? Maybe the junkyard? I know the junkyard has an m20 out of a 5 series and the filter was sticking straight out of the block.
