Exactly! I couldn't have said it better myself. Having a FI swapped e30 is going to be amazing!
Are you planning on spraying the car yourself?

Been browsing through the FI forums as a SpecE30 enthusiast, and finally decided to make an account. I like your build, but I did notice you talking about "the track" quite a few times. What measures have you taken to make this car driveable on the track? Being that this is a turbo car, what class do you plan on racing? Do you have any track experience?
Not really sure you understand how demanding a top mount turbo track car will be mate, hope you're thinking this out!
Cheers,
JP
I dont plan to compete at any level with this car. The only road racing it will be doing is HPDE track days. Also would like to get some auto-x, small parking lot drift events in if I have the money.
If I had to come up with a main reason I'm building this car is to be able to get in it no matter what and it bring a smile to my face. And thats already starting to happen and Its not even done.Leave a comment:

Just got word from a buddy that involved in this new site that they want to feature my car.
What makes their site different then most stanceworks type sites is that they dont just focus on the car, they focus on the build and they owner/driver/builders.
Heres they teaser
Ill be the first real feature

You can always go with the stuff they sell at Parts stores nowadays. It's that single stage Duplicolor or something like that. It's pretty darn cheap. But...if I were you, I would just get the paint I really wanted (more expensive stuff) and be happy with it forever and not have to re-prep the whole car over again when you finally make the switch to it.
Where should I even start looking? Like what sites?Leave a comment:

I need a budget white paint that will last decently, look nice with good prep, and be inexpensive. HALPLeave a comment:

<3 thanks man.
My entire garage is begining to get coverd in AWII paint dust lol. Got the whole car done in 120 grit, some areas in 220. Got a good amount of bondo work done. This is my first time ever doing body work or paint work in general on a car so Im learning as I go. I bought an orbital sander but doing it by hand seems like the best way to go. Spraying spraycan primer on the areas that need work as a judge of high and low spots as well as seeing if the bondo is flat. God I cant wait to start to get some paint on here. Car should be startable in a week or so but Im not gonna bother until the paint is finished. She be a great christmas present to myself.

Well I was happy with my IE3's but i wanted something adjustable, a little lower, and a little stiffer. These are perfect. Or atleast they were for a daily that i drive hard as fuck. I might go stiffer for the track next season.Leave a comment:
