    School me on wastegates.

Need 1 for my t4 .60 ar turbo.
Will not be running over 7-8psi.

What do I look for, and what dictates what I need?

******searched, really did not get the answer I was looking for********

Well, you will need one with an 8lb spring to run 8psi of boost assuming you will not be using a boost controller.

General rule is if you are running low boost, you want a larger wastegate(44mm).
It needs more expulsion of gasses that you aren't utilizing in boost, so it needs to be bigger.
If it is a higher boost application where the larger turbocharger is within its efficiency range, you can use the smaller wastegate because you're not expelling much exhaust gas.

        That's a perfect explanation.

        Thanks!
