    m50 turbo clutch questions

    So I have a 91 e34 nv m50 and I have a 92 e36 getrag tranny that i am currently resealing for boost

what i need to know is what is the best option for a reliable clutch setup?
ill be in the 300-400 range, Id like to stay with a single mass flywheel

Also since i bought the car swapped its always had a problem with the clutch release, so does anyone know which release arm is needed?

I have lots of questions to come and it seems a lot of people on here are starting this same project, so any and all help is appreciated

I will be starting a full build thread with pictures as soon as I make a little more progress. thanks

I will be running a similar power range with my s52. I kept my dual mass flywheel, had it refinished though, and from the amount of research i did the SOuthbend Stage 3 clutch was the best option. installed it and couldnt be happier. Supper grabby.

oh, and i used the clutch slave cylinder that game with the 97 m3 zf. hope this helps.

    pm'd with more info.

My plan is to use a e36 m3 clutch and flywheel
This should hold everything and the price isnt bad

That's impressive! From what I read I figured the m3 clutch couldn't hold after about 300whp. What kind of numbers is he putting down oh and What turbo/fuel system is he running?

Ya thats good to hear, i sorta assumed the same around 300 , i plan on starting at 7 psi

Also, while i was doing the head gasket I went ahead and port and polished the head, Anyone know how much a port and polish will add to the m50t?

I'll be installing a gripfore stage 3 clutch disc and pressure plate (modified sachs unit) with a sachs TOB and AASCO flywheel. I'm hoping it can hold up to 500whp as claimed.
