I was under the impression that you do NOT want to have your oil drain for your turbo going to the lowest part in the oil pan. Am I wrong? Is it okay? From what I understood, it won't drain fast enough, and oil will back-up the oil drain tube and start blowing turbo seals?

haha no problem man. I felt the same way when i asked people about tuning. So from what i understand, basically there are two main types of tuning people do; a chip tune and a standalone.

TRM makes a great chip tune but it is pretty pricey. You can find a bunch of info on thisforum about it. It basically adds a chip to your ECU with a specific tune to your car.

Megasquirt is a standalone fuel system that allows you to controll a ton of different things from a computer. It is a secondary ECU that you either buy, or build yourself.

in a perfect world i would buy this.
MS3X arrives equipped with features like sequential fuel & spark, 2 step, progressive nitrous, boost control, onboard traction control & much more!

Rather ruin it now before some sort of a failure ruined it later :)

The drain bolt turbo drain is looked down upon by many, but it works, even if it is retarded.

However, If you have the motor on a stand, why not do it the right way? I've only done this on cars that don't have time to undergo surgery. Its not that hard.
