    Lurching while in BOOST

Hey all, so I have an issue with the e30! Its a very simple setup. No mega squirt or anything like that. Just manually tuned at 8psi. When i am in boost it starts to lurch, lets say its like lag, no lag, lag, no lag. Any ideas on what I should look at first?

Without a video or time frame, that description is pretty useless. Do you have a wideband? EGT? At the bare minimum a narrowband?

could also be a fueling issue, though ignition and afr kind of go hand in hand, in a sense. Surging could be retarded timing, way too much fuel, or not enough fuel. Overly retarded timing in combination with running too lean seems to be the most noticeable combination, and least when I was tuning my turbo.

My subaru does it, wastegate duty cycle cannot keep your boost regulated (electric boost controller, needs tune). I bet its your boost controller, vac leak, wastegate, or tune.
