My old metric blues held up pretty well for the past 3-4 years, but i do recommend to buy new ones if you have to pull the head, i belive mine were fine the first two times but not the third, just pisses me off because i allready had 5 torqed down .. lol

      Closest thing is Black-Oxide M10x1.5 150mm Length Spacer Stud. McMaster-Carr Part # 93275A046 = $2.79/ea

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

EDIT: Hmmm.. looks like ARP head studs are also Black-Oxide steel.. if these work then lots of people have been getting butt raped @ $225 a pop.

Honestly, I bet its the exact same hardware.

EDIT: For reference the part # for the nut on McMaster Carr is 91005A037

Total cost on McMaster Carr is $82.74 for studs and nuts.

Yep thats the nuts, also you would go with the 175 mm long studs i belive 150 is too short, there would be none sticking past the head.

I was just thinking that too.. better to get the slightly longer ones and cut to size. Part # 93275A047

Do you know the pitch and the bolt size for the arp or blue metric? Also, 175mm would be safer then 150mm?

M10x1.5mm 150mm Length... That's how I found the stud kit on McMaster Carr but in this case the 175mm stud would give you 25mm extra length for the nut to thread on.

You use the same hardened washers you would use with stock or metric blue bolts.

Probably would not need to cut down the studs, not sure but its not that much longer.

Those studs from mcmaster look quite interesting.

I currently have metric blues and they have been holding up nicely for me for the past 8 or so months. Boosted m20 on ~8lbs, :giggle:

Report back once you've tested them and what not. That is a pretty good deal
