They will be his and her's weekend drag racing and autox machines :) I will try to make them equal in power so we can have fun and make it fair..Leave a comment:

With Problem number 1 resolved: Power brakes installed.
Sooooo in order to safety my car in QC and keep my Supercharger system at the same time I had to find a solution for my problem number 2) Power Steering.
Well they want Power steering....well they will have it :) Great seller on ebay called pontiac442 made me a good deal on this used pump from europe, its in the mail, oh and its Electric all in one makes for a clean clean underhood.
Meanwhile I will get ready for this project I cant wait to get started... this is an amazing option for E30 owners. Stay tuned...

Almost done with Power brakes. It is quite the job as I had to remove the MC, redo the brake lines and redo the SC intake (still waiting on 3" flex to install)
Also had to weld brake pedal tab to connect brake
booster.
So I just have to finish the piping for the SC, adjust brake pedal.
I will probably mount the air filter in one of the kidneys and plumb it using the 3" flex I got in the mail. Should be better anyways for removing the air filter from the hot under hood temps.
When all this is done I move to the electric Power steering.Leave a comment:

Power brakes: DONE
Trust me I will go to the dyno and fine tune timing and get some numbers...butt dyno says over 220HP and 220 torque at 5PSI for sure.Leave a comment:

I like this as well
Makes me think of group B rally.
As for your power brake option you may just play with maser cylinder size.Last edited by bmwguy325is; 06-06-2012, 07:40 PM.Leave a comment:

Subscribed as well. I'm interested in how much Hp this makes and how difficult it would be to duplicate.Leave a comment:

Hey thanks you :) U seem to be the only watching!! *joke*lol I know a lot of people are watching but there's no interaction...lol.. everybody is just behind scenes reading ....
When I get my action video's maybe then I will have some more interaction..lol.
My blogs are not badly detailed, i'm 100% sure you could just copy it and build the same thing, just challenge yourself, dont quit and you will succeed! for patience well that is another story...I got 2 kids maybe thats why!! lol...
more to come...Leave a comment:

I don't know about anyone else but I'm definitely watching this thread. This is such a cool build. I wish I had the patience and the know how to do something like this.Leave a comment:

Well after having some serious fun driving it for a few weeks I decided I was ready to go do a Quebec safety, boy was I wrong. My car was labeled a Race car so it could not be safety.
After letting my Girlfriend drive my finally tuned and bug free Supercharged E30 she comes back very impressed by the performance (and am only boosting 4.5PSI) but now 2 major problems I need to action. The new tires don't work very well with Manual steering and the extra 50HP doesn't work well with manual brakes. :( hence now I understand why my car did not safety.
So 2 new projects on the table:
1) Install power brakes: This is major work as I now have to redo all the Supercharger extremely tight intake setup, air filter assembly, remove MC and reinstall, rework brake pedal so I got lots of work ahead here. (got 3" flexible piping coming to help me do this)
2) Power steering: This one here is Major as well as I don't have room for another pulley so option is called Electric hydraulic power steering (2 pump options 1 from a 91 MR2 and the other a all in one reservoir/pump from a europeen truck. Both will be custom setups and will require custom hydraulic lines made and wiring.
and last but not least the best part, I located a performance shop that will be able to custom built me a 7"diameter - 6 Rib crank pulley (copying the M50 crank I already have) so I can raise the boost to 8-9PSI :)
With all these done I will try my luck again at safety and this will also mark the end of the Supercharger setup so I will move to the Turbo side this winter.Leave a comment:

Seing my thread is invisible LOL... I will still post here and see if there is any interest.
I just approched another fabrication company to make me a custom crank pulley for the M20 engine following the M50 design but instead of 5" diameter go to 7" in a 6-Rib design.
Reason is to increase boost from 4.5PSI to around 9-10PSI.
I also having 10 custom bracket built to exact specs as mine.Leave a comment:
