part 1 of my F/I M20

Happy to report that today I finished troubleshooting and tuning my SC setup and its running very strong.

Fixed the hunting idle issue.

Idle 12.9-13.8 AFR no more going lean and stumbling
PArt throttle 13/14-15.5 AFR
Full boost 11.5-12.3 AFR and 27 degree of timing

5 PSI intercooled boost as early as 2 000RPM

I lose traction at every gear am very impressed with even the low amount of boost (I am running 27 degree of timing and no signs of detonation)

I need a volunteer to take some vids of my car in action lol... right now seat of the pants say as fast as my girlfriends stock 2012 WRX easy.

next steps DYNO tuning...and Twincharge (turbo part)

So with the supercharge side done...of my Twincharge project. I found this diagram that fully explains what my setup will look at the end.. I will be able to run a very big turbo as the charger will feed it and it wont have to spool anymore.(taking away lag)

man that is going to be sick!!! how are you gona controll them? have them boost at the same time? or have a pressure switch that reads once pressure moves over the sc output and turns it off?

No switch , It will be compounded boost. Nothing fancy just going to take advantage of the blower pushing 5PSI of air to a BIG turbo that will spool it real quick. My goal was to make a fun car to DD(good low end torque) and a weekend 11 second Drag warrior.

FINALLY I have finished my supercharger project. Today I installed the 30# red Bosch injectors... took a good hour but all went well.

Spent a good hour tuning to get the idle corrected and a bit of driving around hitting full boost of 5PSI at 11-12AFR running 26 degree of timing...
Final pictures of the engine bay...looks better in person..almost looks factory








Videos coming :) and more tuning (I may go to a dyno to tune the timing..) so far am very happy everything is holding up really well..

Initial reaction..... Damn I love boost!! 5PSI right a 2K rpm :)

6 months of work and patience... 1000$ and part 1 is DONE!!

I will start Part 2 turbo for a twincharge setup once I move province
