    M20 turbo manifold mounted upsidedown?

trying to help out a friend quickly...

it's my old mani, yet it's been so long since mounted can't recall whether it was top or bottom turbo mount.

he's got this setup as is now, however the turbo doesn't fit as it

oil drain line hitting the strut tower area when turbo is mounted.

    I'm 99% sure it's simply upside down...

    does this look right?

Im pretty sure that is how it goes.

here is how it is advertised. I picked up this manifold and want to know how well it works. Only benefit to other manifolds is that it clears the ac.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

yep, pretty sure you're right...turbo would sit way too low otherwise.

I had it mounted to a vert, and never ran into fitment issues...weird

Look at the ports...you can't flip it upside down and have it line up. You would have to do a serious amount of porting in order for it to flow reasonably well.

              lol it's mounted right.
              Center rotate your turbo.

If you mounted it upside down, I think your wastegate provisional would go thru your hood :p

There are only 3 bottom mount manifolds for the e30 and they are all log style with the turbo mounted to the very rear.
