Enginr pinging when i blip the throttle

    M42 DASC engine,
    all original setup,
    original fuel pump,
fuel supply has RRFPR provided with the DASC kit
injectors are 19lb/s from Saab 900 turbo

this is like this - when i blip the throttle the engine is pinging, if i keep on with open throttle, pinging disappears, but at the first second or so - the engine pings really hard.
p.s. this happens when the engine is hot-very hot, when the engine is cool, this does not happen or happen a lot less

    what can this be?
im using my car for drifting, and there this thing happen all the time...

The factory fuel pump may not be cutting it just to start with..

Pinging is usually from insufficient timing advance.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        Fixed ;)

You are most likely going lean when stabbing the throttle. You can't do much about that with an RRFPR. As your engine gets warmer it requires a little more fuel.

Pinging is from detonation. Too much timing/ lean mixture or a mix of the two. More fuel will compensate for the timing to an extent.

you sure it's pinging and not some other noise?

there is very little flow to cause huge pressure and temp needed for pinging by blipping the throttle

If its knock their could be so many things causing it. What octane fuel are you using, how much boost, timing advance?
I have friends who are EOD bro.

That's awesome. I have friends who make coffee for a living, but you don't see me rocking out a bunch of lattes
