      Okay that sounds right.
And under pressure your air compressor held it steady at (x)psi??

Okay. Well it's not suppose to hold steady per say, but it's suppose to build pressure steady. You'll lose a bit psi every second or so.

sometimes compressor wheels are balanced individually from the turbine wheel, thus elminating the need to rebalance them together when re-assembled.

I've had luck with G-Pop shop with rebuilding turbos, I also had them port and polish the turbine housing.

Yeah I have come to believe that the turbo shaft is slightly bent and therefore causing resistance. I'm going to disassemble the turbo and take the shaft to a turbo specialist locally and have him take a look at it

Be careful when handling the shaft and always remember to use lube.

Did you rebuild it or buy a new one?

Neither, warped the head in the process so I had to swap in a n/a do to lack of funds and it being my dd. But if I had to choose I'd buy another, there a dime a dozen around here

You warped the head without making any boost? And that's what I'm trying to decide whether to rebuild it or just buy another one I believe I am going to need a new wheel and shaft
