Well if you do ms you dont need to convert to obd1. The only stock sensors I will be using is throttle and crank position. Then you use the map sensor from ms, and a gm IAT sensor and you're done.
If you wanna go obd1 so that you can get a chip tune, then I'd say budget around 600 bucks for the swap. You basically need all sensors, harness, ecu, intake manifold and throttle body off a vanos m50. I say 600 because you will probably have to replace a sensor or 2 if you buy em used.
