    M20 Turbo MSD????and feedback on other parts

    What ignition sytem have any of the turbo'd M20 drivers use. I want to make sure i am going the right way... I was thinking MSD 6al with btm..
    Current mods on the Turbo'd setup !
    19lbs SVT injectors - Ebay
    M30 AFM - Ebay
    Schrick 272 Cams - Lowen Design
    Iriduim plugs - Napa
    8.8 Homemade Accell wires - AdvanceAuto
    Custom piping
    Intercooler 28*8*2.5 - Ebay
    Turbo t3/t4 - Ford 2.3l Turbo MOdded
    Hks Wastegate - hks clearance store on ebay


    STill Need
    RRFPR - any info would help which do you recomend
    Fuel Pump - inline or intank????
    Mark Dysilva Chip - just waiting on taxes
    Exhaust manifold - TurboEast custom complete or after stock Manifolds?? Still debating

    I know Jordan is aching to post somethign wise ass but please i need some honest feedback... We can joke later once its done....

    I dont think you want to run the RRFPR.. I've heard bad things about them and turbos. The concept sounds good, but aparantly its not. Dont run a markd chip unless its custom and it retards timing, otherwise you will detonate when the chip advances the timing under boost. Depending on how much boost your running and how much fuel pressure you may want more than 19lbers. MSD BTM works fine for boosted cars.

      TCD sells a chip for turbo'd M20s. not sure if that'll work for you or not though, but it's worth looking into.

            Yes, standard chips advance timing to gain more power. With a turbo, you want to retard timing under boost so you don't predetonate.

              Megasquirt or a WAR chip would be a good idea for boost. Lots of tuning available for both
