I feel the need to get back on this forum and just let everyone know what I have been dealing with over the last three months. I purchased a plug 'n' play mega squirt unit from Blueapplesoda (Derek) a pretty well respected member on this forum I believe. I had no problems with the unit and Derek was actually willing to help me when I called with questions. Since then a local tuner cooked a resister inside the ecu (my best theory, pretty positive).
So I asked Derek if he could take a look at the unit, fix it, and send it back along with a bill. He agreed to do this and so about three months ago my ecu landed at his office. Since then I have gotten very few emails back from him even though I message him once a week. So far he seems to have absolutely no intention of explaining to me what is going on, returning my unit, or the money that I spent on it. I just wanted to share these unfortunate events with everyone so that they will not make the same mistakes I have and send Derek any business.
My hope with this post is that either Derek will come out of hiding and let me know what is happening or that people will stop buying from him and save themselves a huge headache like the one I am dealing with
