    MLS Headgasket Question

Well I'm turning up the bewst on the car tomorrow to 18 lbs hoping to make 450+ on stock internal m20 but it'll probably blow up first or my headgasket will haha. But anyways depending on how things go I'll probably be building another motor. I've seen a few turbo builds were people are putting MLS headgasket on block that haven't been resurfaced/machined. I always thought they won't seat right and leak/etc and never really settle correctly causing problems and need a smooth even surface. Is this true? Or anyone have experience other wise? My headgasket will probably blow before I hit what I want anyways lol.

For viewing pleasure. Car has wasted spark

True, but I think you'll need more boost to reach +450 especially on a stock motor

If you still have the stock cam Id imagine 18psi on 91oct to be around 360-400whp with a decent tune.

Cars on e85 right now. Made 320 on 12lbs so probably 18-20 will make it happen. So block does need to be machined for MLS gasket

I did not machine the block, only the head. + copper spray

copper spray should not be used on a metal gasket
