    Turbo Housing options

    Hi All

Need some advice on turbo exhaust housings. I have a GT35R and 2 housings atm, T3 0.82 and T3 1.06. The motor is an S50 with stock internals and schrick cams. Aiming at 450 to 500HP.
Can someone recommend which of these housings best suits the S50, or am I better off with a T4 0.63?

I ask as I'm buying a manifold soon and not sure if I want to stock with T3 or go with T4.

Forgot to mention, I don't really redline my cars, so I'd want full boost by 3k all the way to 7k rpm's

    Thanks

T3 .82 is what you need.
I have T3 manifolds in stock.

        .82
Your power won't fall off at higher rpm either.

Thanks all. Would I see any benefit from using a T4 0.63. I read it should spool at the same rpm's, however, give me better top end? Or, is the difference so small, its best to stick with the t3 .82 as I already have it?
          Thank you

T4 will not spool as fast as the T3 on stock motor. The T3 .82 would be your best choice.

Just curious, what is the most you can get out of a turbo S50 motor with schrick cams, MLS head gasket and head studs? I've been checking for a while but haven't come across anything. Are the stock internals even capable of 450-500hp?
                    Thanks

You will be fine on stock internals at that power level. A good place for info on everything turbo is bimmerforums FI section. Also if you don't go to redline you're not living, just donate your car to someone with an m10. :D
