M42 turbo on a budget?

Hi I'm from the UK and was originally considering an M52 swap this winter but I got thinking could I turbo the m42 on a budget for similar power?

Not had good responses for this in the UK forums because they think it costs £2000 ($3500) just to put in an m52!! Which is a joke. Not found any definitive answers from the UK and thought there must be someone on here that has done it.

Anybody got any advice?

He makes a good turbo kit set up it comes with everything you need and its $1800 so its a pretty sweet deal.

I would look around on m42club. Won't be cheap, but lots of great builds over there.

M42club is your best bet.

Parts are cheap, its the tuning most do not have a good solution for. There are a few people who tune the OEM system, and then there is the standalone route.
