They are a 12.9 class bolt. Alot of the turbo guys on e30tech use them and have had no issuse with them. Plus they are reuseable unlike the stock bolts.
    ?

seems to be lots of chatter about metric blues on e30tech, seems to be well reviewed.

sorry to revive old thread, but I am deciding what headbolt to use for my turbo stroker rebuild.

yes, there's a lot of talk about metric blues, but not all is positive. actually people have some mixed responses.

ok, so... what are the choices ?
        1. metric blues (rather not)
        2. stock oem headbolts (definitely not)
        3. arp headstuds (great, but over US$200)
        4. raceware headstuds (great, but over US$200)

are there any other options ?

I think i would cut corners and save money by going with stock headgasket and good headstuds torques heaps ;)
