Catch Cans

In the market for a catch can for my Turbo m20b28 track car,
I will be running E85 and was told I don't want the oil from the can to drain to the sump due to it being like water ??
Do these cans fill up quickly ?

Or should i go this and plumb it back into the intake (i thought the vacuum would suck oil from the can into the intake).

On a NA (I don't know anything about turbos) engine you really don't want to screw up the vacuum system, which is what would happen with the 1st ebay product you listed. It would not allow the intake vacuum to be applied to the valve cover. The 2nd product you listed would work. A properly designed catch can will separate the oil from the air so that only "clean" air comes out the outlet. Then you periodically drain the separated oil from the can.

Whatever route you choose, don't plumb it back into the intake
I've had so many problems with this kind of setup. All it does is introduce oil vapor into the motor, lower octane rating making it more prone to pinging/less power, and makes a mess of your charge piping.
Vent to atmosphere or plum it to the exhaust if you want vacuum being pulled on it.

I'm starting to plan my turbo install also. I have everything I need except the oil drain/feed setup.

If you say to dump to the atmosphere, you're implying that I take the hose from the valve cover and extend it beneath the car? How do you seal the port on the intake? Quarter and jb weld? Lol

That's one way to do it or have the hose go to a can, and put a filter on it.
Or hose to a can, and have the hose go under the car (whatever doesn't introduce vapors into your cabin).

lol, yes that's ones way to seal the port on your throttle body if that's what you're talking about.
You need one of Einstein57's intake elbows to delete the port on the intake. It's a valuable piece to have that will outlast the car itself.
That, or fab up your chargepipe to accept necessary ports/no-ports.

could i vent this to the atmosphere? with a pipe and a filter off the outlet, or do I have to plumb it back into the intake, which I don't like the sound of.

I just hate the thought of having oil in my intake, but i just read a provent Brochure and it says it will stop all oil entering the intake system.

It also says for cars up to 200kw, my car will have far more than that, will it still be an option.

It's definitely good to have vacuum pulled from the breather by routing it back into the intake, but most catch cans I've dealt with or seen cannot stop enough oil vapor from entering the intake which results in all the negatives I posted above. If I can find a can that literally removes all oil from the vapor with PROOF, I would re-route it back into my turbo intake elbow. Hell, I'll buy two of them since my valve cover is tapped for two breathers.

As soon as I vented to atmosphere, my exhaust stopped smoking on decel, a bunch of fuel had to be removed on my tune (more fuel was compensating for the extra oil vapors being introduced into the cylinder, lowering my octane rating), and I gained a lot of torque without changing psi. All this commotion was done on a dyno.

I forked up the cash for a mishimoto baffled catch can. My car was blowing a lot of oil from the breather before. Now there is almost no oil in the intake side. The oil that is in there is more than likely from the previous install. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a quality catch can.

If you suspect that your car will have more than 200l/min blow by gas, you can always get the 400 model. To ensure no oil got into your intake, and charge pipes you could look at setting them up in series.
