    Need advice on head rebuilding

Ok, so I need some advice on rebuilding my 885 head for my stroker swap. Here is the back story:

Back in the fall I found someone locally parting out his turbo e30 while I was looking to build a 2.7L stroker to put in my e30 with my turbo build. The guy basically had the build I wanted but was using a different turbo. I went to look at the car while it was still together and he gave me a ride in the car and all was going well until he over boosted and blew the HG because he routed the WG incorrectly.

A week or so later he pulled the head off the engine to see if anything was damaged and I went back to inspect the head and block to see if I still wanted the engine. After getting there I looked at the valve seats, turned the cam and visually inspected the valves actuating. Everything looked OK, valves seemed like they were mating well with the head and the valve seats all looked free of scoring. So with my little knowledge of engines (this is my first engine build ever, I'm a noob...) I took a chance and bought the engine from him.

Fast forward to last week, i dropped the head off to get inspected at a respected machinists who has done a bunch of work for PRO3 racers in the PNW. I wanted to get the head inspected before putting the engine back together for peace of mind. I Didn't hear back from him until last night. At this point I'm expecting to hear him say everything checked out and it just needed a surfacing or something. He proceeds to tell me that every single valve, minus two exhaust valves are bent and a couple valve guides need replacing..... I've made a huge mistake.

So my options are as follows:
-Have machinist rebuild this head with used valves he has from other builds
-Take the 885 head off the engine in my car and see if its any good (220k miles, head possibly rebuilt at 190k due to snapped timing belt)
-Say fuck it and upgrade the head with HD rockers, new valves springs and stock cam.

I'm a pretty thrifty person, but money isn't really that big of a factor at this point since I'm already 4-5K into this build. If there is a good reason to spend extra money I'll def consider doing so.

Any advice or input is appreciated, I'm sorta a noob to this kinda stuff lol

BUELLER?!??! I guess I should also note that the car will mostly be used as a weekend driver that sees a few track days a year.

I was planning on increasing the rev limiter to 7k once I put the turbo on, the HD rockers give me more peace of mind while sustaining high revs on the track or during spirited driving.

Right now I'm leaning towards rebuilding it with the HD rockers.

The M20's power starts to fall off at 6000 rpm with an unmodified head and stock cam. A 7k revlimiter may help you shift gears less on the track, but the car won't pull as hard from 6k to 7k as it will from 5k to 6k.
