    Future turbo M20

Building my first E30:D! I haven't had the engine running in the new shell so I plan on doing the standalone, intake, radiator swap and coil packs this year and boosting it next winter. I'm going to run a haltech (not sure what model) ecu and I think it will be easier to figure out my base tune and get familiar with it before the turbo. The engine is from and '87 and the shell is a 92 so I have already been fighting that.

    1) Cooling-I'm picking up a mishimoto radiator for the late model and going to figure out the hoses later.

2)Intake-I'm a little lost here found a CX racing aluminum intake elbow on ebay wondering if anyone has experience with these. I don't think the stock one will hold boost.

3)Ignition-I'm thinking of picking up some used LS coils, the haltech has the outputs to run all 6.

I have an AEM wideband on order, gauge holder for the vents (oil pressure, boost, AFR)

I'm basically doing everything now except for the turbo and intercooler. I want to test out the tuner and drive the car a little before the boost but i dont want to have to change a lot or do things twice.

Any input is appreciated let me know if you are running something different.

Get whodwho to make you a MS unit.

There are a few guys that make the gauge panels to go basically anywhere in the cockpit for any size gauges or switches.

Take some time and do some searching in the forced induction section and you can see the countless turbo builds.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Ordering the elbow from German engineering, thanks that is exactly what I need.
Does anybody make a distributor cover plate and cam sensor combo? I really don't want to have to make it.

You don't need to worry about a cam sensor on the m20, the distributor just routes power, the ignition signal is based off the Crank sensor.

I was hoping to go sequential, so I would want a cam sensor to run my haltech. It looks like most people go wasted spark though.
