Hello everyone, I've had my current e30 for almost 2 years now, and it's about time to do a turbo build on it. I have made some plans and would like some opinions. I am looking at getting a good used block from a junk yard or somewhere then getting it machined and all that stuff to make good condition again, then I would like to add forged pistons and rods, but I was wondering if i can keep my crank stock. I would also like to get stiffer valve springs and use oem valves and rocker arm with a MLS head gasket and the ARP headstuds, I am looking at a precision 6262 turbocharger with a MSPNP ecu system, big injectors, a fmic of course. So my question is, if I do all that stuff will I be able to reliably run over 20 psi? My dad owns a mechanic shop so most of the work will be done with his help the only money I will spend on labor is to get the head and blocked machined and ported and all that and to get the car tuned.
Looking to rebuild my engine then boost it

IMO you are asking the wrong question. You shouldn't be asking can I run more than 20psi, you should be asking, "how much power would I like to make, and how will I be using the car".Comment
