So i'll just comment on the supercharger. I think someone on here out of FL or TX did this setup on their e30.
Thank you for the positive information, I believe this project is very feasible! This forum, r3vlimited has far more information on turbos and supercharging than any other BMW forum I have found.

I do believe this is a great sight and hope to make a positive contribution in the future, maybe you guys will help reform me even. I may become a sanctioned racer very soon. SCCA is sounding really good as of late.

      M90 in AC location

I know that the AC location at first seem easier, but in another forum someone placed it there and it was destroyed. Their motor mount broke and either the M90 hit the frame or the road! They had pictures posted an it was just hanging way to low for my comfort. They also had a problem running the ducting around the 90 and the exhaust manifold/headers.

          Second spoiler

also i came into this thread thinking you were going to have a great write up that my best friend could use on his supercharger journey....

and i feel completely let down...

stay tuned for his write up soon ;) your gonna need it
The small black spoiler is there because my car is a 325IS and that small spoiler is factory. If I remove it there would be six holes in my trunk lid and I did not want to replace the trunk lid or do body work and paint the trunk lid. So I left it on!

It does not make down force, but it does not hurt either. And actually there are two different purposes and functions to the Aluminum wing and the rubber spoiler!

The aluminum wing creates down force! The purpose of the trunk small black poiler is to create air turbulence and the air will follow the line of the car better for aerodynamic purposes!

          Yes, I did research it!

I am sorry you feel let down, I hope to see your friends write up soon , maybe I can learn something from his experience. I would appreciate a good example to follow, as I am figuring this out as I go. I have spent many hours planning and researching this supercharger installation.

And who determines Taste? Individuality is Important. I guarantee if we pass each other on the highway you will recognize my car, but will I recognize yours?

Yes, I march to the beat of my own drummer and I will continue to, Have a good evening.

Your just full of wise words, there is not an APC item on my car! If you can't think of something better don't waste my time!

yeah ive read that thread plenty of times, its a bad motor mounts that broke the sc not the location, i would love to run it by the intake but i'm not sure if it will fit, he also had to shorten the nose on the m90.

I have read and studied it, he made some real good progress. I hate what happened.

I am going to try and put mine on the intake side. I will keep everybody posted on how this goes.

I believe it will work out!

I was not planning on it at first, but lots of people are recommending it. I was planning on running an after market chip, 30lb injectors and a mechanical fuel management unit.

I am going to look into Megasquirt, I just don't know enough about it! How difficult is it to install and integrate into the existing engine management system.

Anything you could tell me would be helpfull and appreciated!
