How much PSI, could be blowing the spark out, what kind of ignition system are you running.

      8 psi.

      Stock ignition.

I had to running fine this morning, then this afternoon it started doing this. I think the fuel pump finally gave up the ghost.

Alebit the ignition is controlled by MS, but its the stock coilpacks.

No whine from the pump? Check fuel pressure?

LOTS of whine from the pump.

When I rev it with MS connected the gauges on the laptop show the fuel pressure goes to negative.

I'm pretty sure its the pump, just wanted to see if there were any other ideas.

when my fuel pump died my car actually couldnt stay alive unless it was about 3000 rpm but it wouldnt even reach five.. oh i would have to say the biggest symptom i noticed is the rpm's would bounce around alot at idle by like 2-4 hundred rpms. and it got worse after being on brakes kinda hard

Whack the panel above the fuel pump a couple time with a rubber mallet when it starts falling on its face.

I had this problem when I first went MS, it turned out to be the overboost protection setting in the tune. I had it set too low so it would cut the spark out once the car reached full boost. Maybe your boost controller is letting your car overboost?

that should be a immediate indicator.
if i were you, i'd replace the fuel filter while i was replacing the fuel pump. ;)

Doesnt there have to be something sending a fuel pressure signal to the MS for that reading to be accurate? I didn't think there was a fuel pressure signal unless you added an aftermarket gauge sender.

Fuel filter? I used a walbro in my setup and they use these stupid little sump filters that get dirty and clogged really fast and caused my car to choke up and the afr's went lean around higher rpm/boost. Could be a problem.

On second thought if u used an fpr (pre-ms) with the stock fuel pump then your pump probably failed.

Thats what M3Ryan said as well when I called him.

I already ordered the pump and I'll get the fuel filter as well.
