anybody think this would work??

So i have had a garret .42 A/R turbo off an 86 chrysler new yorker for a while now. Im considering throwin it on my m50 in my 84 325 that i happen to be picking up on saturday. Yes im already making palns for a car i dont have. Anyways could i make this work?? i realize it would take a good bit of custom work and some cheapy ebay parts but its whatever.

yeah its pretty damn small lol but its what i got so i thought i might try to make it work!! lol im actually picking the car up at the end of the week so i'll post some pics then

It will "work", but you would be way better off ditching it and getting a turbo better suited to your engine. Just because it was free doesn't mean it's worth putting on your engine.

you might actually blow the turbo from overspooling it.

yeah i know its not the best suited turbo. well far from it....but yeah all valid points. If me and my redneck ass friends cant make something work i'll probably just buy a gt35r

just get the right turbo in the first place. a ghetto junkyard halfassed turbo setup is only going to cause you nightmares.

yup i did!! i kinda forgot to take pics since its all torn apart in my buddies garage. I'll be there on Wednesday i believe if you wanna see pics of it all torn up haha. Its a sick car but it does need a few things for the swap to be totally complete
