Adapting the M20 Throttle Body To The M10 Intake Manifold (Throttle Cable)

As the title reads, There seems to be no information online for how the m20 throttle body can work with the throttle cable in these m10 powered cars, I am almost certain that it could work but I would like to know if I need to buy a new throttle cable and adapt it or come up with a solution for the original cable, Thankfully I almost have everything needed to switch over to the new throttle body for Megasquirt. As Always, I appreciate the advice that comes my way!

I'll see about retrofitting the 318i cable to the throttle body, I do know that one of the cable ports features the missing cruise control so I'll do more research, Will update with photos if it works.

        SOLVED!

The original 318i throttle cable can be adapted to the m20 throttle body with the new retaining clip (Part number: 13541747519)

To adapt your cable to the M20 Throttle Body, The second bracket that holds your throttle cable must be used as the first bracket is intended for cruise control if you wish to add it in your 318i, It will be a tight fit but the cable fully opens the butterfly flap as it should.
