I did some messing with my ICV and my car (M10) runs similar to what the OP said. This morning it wanted to stall a lot before it warmed up but after that I noticed a nice improvement overall and normal operation otherwise even with heater blowing full and etc. I might want to pull it off, I think I might have closed it completely when I was messing with it based on how the OP's ran with it removed! :)

I bought my car without an icv and it won't stay running once it gets warm and once it dies it is hard to get going again. Or atleast I think that the icv is causing it. I know I don't have one. I Started a thread with my cars issues.

I just replied to your thread, I didn't see that your car doesn't stay running while warm though. I do not have this trouble.

bump on an old thread and car I dont have anymore :D , but yea Bavdrifter, If your car didnt come with a ICV, make sure everything is blocked off, as in No leaks. Like I said a month ago, give teh car 5 mins to warm up then everything should be fine. But once ur car warms up, its running like crap?

A modified ICV is your best friend when running a hotter cam trying to increase rpm's at idle.

there is no idle speed adjustment on a B25

if your idle isn't right you either have a vacuum leak, the injectors are buggered up, or your ICV is dirty/shot.

if you make the hole bigger in the ICV the computer is just going to compensate by closing it more. Same with cracking the TB. The only way to adjust the idle speed is to modify the computer, closed loop idle and all.

that said, what most people consider a "hot" cam should idle fine at the stock idle speed, and if it doesn't you shouldn't be using the stock ECU to begin with.

I had a bad ICV that didn't work at all last winter. I almost blew my fucking car up it was so annoying. Like if you're stopping for a light, you have to constantly heel toe to keep it running. People look at you like you're retarded, revving the piss out of it at a stop.

well when I had the m10 and deleted the ICV the car ran great. Just on cold start up you have to let it warm up for a few mins b4 driving. The car blew due to new owner reasons by putting a icv back on that was making the car run way to lean.

                            that's an M10 though. An M10 running great isn't saying much. :p
