Here's a little snippet about tuning AFRs:
"Above 100kpa you want to be richer. Low boost about 12.5:1 is usually fine, mid boost about 12:1 is good usually, and high boost closer to 11.8:1 and in some cases as rich as 11.5:1"

Goodnews bad news post right here.

found a humongus boost leak. I mean huge. fixed it up. went for a drive at lowest boost setting. hit 6psi. okay, letts seem what happens when I turn it up. okay, Ill just downshift and pull over here. okay. wait. why is my shifter floppy..... ohh fuuuu..... *pulls over* looks under car, and bam the pin that connects the second rod to the actual transmission fell out, and the shifter disconnected from the shaft.... AAA picks it up. now I gotta go to the dealer to get a new pin tommorow. dang.

Otherwise I dont have an exhaust temp prove, just my o2 sensor. but somehow my megasqurit picks it up from the 02 sensor. So tuning will wait till I get this fixed.

The dowel pin in this diagram (nuber 2)

LOL simplest things do the most always.

Ive also tweaked my fuel maps and got it much leaner. that being said im runningcloser to 12.5 at 5 psi. (this is before discovering boost leak). and I definitley felt a bit more pull up top and in the midrange. so I gotta have more faith in tuning :/

If it's backwards your wastegate won't open.

Hot air, as you know, is less dense than cool air. The problem is, you're not getting as much air volume as you could be into the cyls with that turbo at high RPM. From what I understand, EGTs shouldn't be effected too much by IATs. I didn't see IATs on the datalog, but I could be missing something?

Im running a MBC and I read a bunch on how wastegate's work. I had it diconncected, and connected, and back wards (the MBC tubing). no matte what it was seeing 5 PSI (this is before the boost leak discovery). once I get it back on the street ill get to really find out how much the boost leak was affecting.

I took out the IAT from the datalogs because it was a pretty consistent 75 deg driving and 88 deg sitting still.

Im still learning and your advice is really helping me out.

So either way, you don't see over 5psi even with the
wastegate disconnected? It should be shut tight, with no signal, giving
          you 500000psi.

Do a boost leak test first of all.

he said he found a massive boost leak. haha
if it's still not doing ridiculous boost after the leak, time to see if your wastegate is sealing properly.

Don't run the car too lean, pull your spark plugs and make sure they don't look like salt and pepper. metal flakes are most likely pieces of the cyl. When you pull your plugs, they should be gray, but not WHITE. white = too lean.

It's a good idea to throw on new spark plugs just because they're so cheap, and generally good practice after finishing a tune. You should be running 1 or 2 ranges colder than stock spark plugs if you're not already.

I now gotta wait to fix the damn motor mount before I do anythiing. now I need a welder.
