1984 318i m10 Fuel mileage? HELP from the People driving M10's!

I usually average about 32ish on back roads and roughly 27 highway from just the high idle but im still on the auto tranny currently aswell.

Well, my m10 hasn't moved under it's own power in quite awhile, but it has been towed 3.5 miles, 7 miles total, so...7 miles per almost a tiny bit of gas! Will let you know how things go when I get it running though.

LOL You have nothing to complain about!
I m at around 21-22 mpg with a 4.26 diff.
Injectors should be fine since I pass MOT.
Timing is a bit advanced too.
My E30 drives more than ok for a M10
but it sucks gas like crazy.

I get 23-28 in my 84 318i w a 5 spd swap. Keep in mind that it has a K&N, headers, full Ansa cat delete (so it breathes), aluminum flywheel (it revs) AND the stock 3.46 open...which, according to the original owners manual & the tag on the diff, is exactly what the auto tranny 318i came with from the factory...at least mine did.
