    318i wont start...

Bought a mint bodied 318i with 205k on the body and 75k on the engine last month and when I bought it it was a nice 45 degree day. It fired right up but was idling at 3000rpms for some odd reason, but anyways. I drove it back to my house at 75mph for about 35 miles and noticed when it got to around 5000rpms or higher it would bog down.
When I got home I didnt think much of it because every older car has its flaws and they can be fixed with some maintenance.
Went to go start the car at 345am when it was 10 degrees out and it wouldnt start. It would just sputter like it was trying to.

Now that its been sitting for a month i finally got it fired up the other day and now it will not start again.

Ill go to turn the keys and it will try to start for the first second then nothing, it will keep turning over but I dont hear any sort of combustion. It likes to backfire threw the intake aswell once in awhile.

Ive checked spark and all 4 cyls have great spark, checked fuel at the rail and there is a decent flow.

What Ive come to for possible issues..
    -clogged fuel filter
-weak fuel pump" internal or external I dont know"
    -AFM
    -ICM
    -ECU
    -FPR

    Any other ideas guys????
