      1-3-4-2 is the firing order.

i doubt the AFM randomly made the motor run rough while swapping wires.

it should still fire and start. try holding the throttle open slightly. without an IAC it will either have very fast idle(too much air) or it won't idle properly(die, too little air)

Did you touch anything else? I still think it has to do with something that you changed. If it's not the firing order, it could be the cap/rotor that might have a fracture or something that isn't letting it run properly.

What's happening when u run it? "Running like crap" isn't a very good description.

it has a rough idle and power loss. when i rev it it wants to dye. when running i tryed un pluging the icv and nothing changed. could the iac failing make this happen?

did the distributor cap move when you put the new wires on?

silly question, are the wires in the correct spot for the rotation of the rotor?
                        check fuel flow and pressure

Also make sure that in addition to having the correct firing order, that you go the right way with that. meaning they should go 1 3 4 2 counter clockwise. We're all human.

Old thread but had similar problem took me a minute to figure it out but for anyone check the rotor on the inside. The little plastic piece that locked it in on mine broke so it would run like Shit especially in high rpm. It sounds like really bad miss fires under wot.
